How to reproduce
-----
1. Double-clicked on Calc desktop launcher (several times) with no apparent response.
2. May also have clicked on Writer desktop launcher (maybe more than once) with no apparent response.
3. Clicked on launcher(s) in applications drop-down with no apparent response.

FWIW, it is not possible to start any other application while presentation wizard is running. The stack trace is from clicking on help button in a dialog. Therefore I suppose that you started (maybe unintentionally) impress, so the presentation wizard showed up, then tried to start other apps and then clicked on the help button in the wizard. I cannot reproduce the crash here, though, so it is probably some kind of race.

I'm sorry the traceback wasn't more useful. I do recall launching presentation
wizard and clicking on the help button. But that was after not being able to launch either Calc or Writer.

Calc and Writer both worked fine after rebooting.
