This was fixed in 2.6.38-rc8, which is in testing:

Comment 2 Ulrich Hobelmann 2011-03-13 16:43:20 UTC
That link says that the new kernel was pushed to stable on 03-11. I've tried booting the nightly compose "desktop-i386-20110312.01.iso" from USB stick, and while this bug's error message is no longer there (so I guess the fix is included), I experience the same problems as with the alpha:

The upper left corner of the screen (about 1/4 of the area) is white, the rest black, and nothing happens. If I boot with the "quiet" kernel option turned off, I see the kernel boot, but after "startyng plymouth demon" nothing more happens (this is the same with the alpha and the 03-12 nightly).

I'm wondering if this is another bug (in init or in plymouth) or the same? Anyway, I've had no success booting the F15 alpha so far (never had that problem with previous alphas).

That is a completely separate bug. File a new report.
