How reproducible:
I can visit YouTube and maybe play one video.
Video will play normally once started.
Can not restart video by reloading page or play another video.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit YouTube and select any video.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Flash video box may not appear.

During partial function, video box may appear black. Attempting to play the video may make it flash black. It then disappears revealing the white background.

Expected results:
On loading web page, expect video to start or a thumbnail of the video to be displayed. If thumbnail then I expect video to start playing when clicked on with mouse.

Additional info:

Last security update for Fedora 14 was March 7th 2011.
Attachment also lists Mozilla and VLC packages installed.
Using video codecs from Mplayer website.

Tried force rebuild of ~/.mozilla/firefox directory by moving it to new location so firefox would start with clean configuration with all plugins removed. This seemed to work at first since the first time I visited YouTube, it started playing a video normally. I could not start a second video or play the first one again. The symptoms returned. It does not seem to be an interaction with a plugin or a problem with a configuration conflict with an old version of Firefox.

Thanks for the report. We are sorry that we cannot help you with your problem, but we expressly do not support software which we don't provide and which we cannot debug. I have no choice than to close this bug as CANTFIX (because we really cannot fix it).

For more information about the situation of Flash in Fedora, you can go to http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Flash or try to ask for help in #fedora IRC channel on Freenode.
