Description David Lehman 2011-03-09 20:57:26 UTC
Description of problem:
When the installer finds some, but not all, component devices of an md array, it still tries to treat the incomplete array as if it were complete. This is not intended, and can lead to crashes if users try to do anything with the incomplete arrays.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-13.21.100-1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an md array on two virt disks
2. Start an install using only one of the virt disks above

Actual results:
Observe in "create custom layout" that the array is shown, even though it cannot be used or even activated.

Expected results:
software RAID partitions appear as such, but no array is presented

Comment 4 Jan Stodola 2011-03-29 11:55:13 UTC
Tested on build RHEL6.1-20110323.1 with anaconda-13.21.107-1.el6.
RAID device is not shown when some raid members are missing. Tested with RAID1 and RAID5 configurations.

Moving to VERIFIED.
