this is one of the major part of ITB feature proposed for f15, please let put here if any update it looks like difficult to do it scim-table ways. While thinking i found even better idea. 1) create a pygtk script accepting words, key-sequence and db-name. 2) add some button in ibus-indic-tables status bar, for adding key user can click on that button, just invoke script created in step 1 with taking present active table ime as the one of the input. It will enhance user experience as well This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component. ibus-indic-table-1.3.1-4.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ibus-indic-table-1.3.1-4.fc16 1: You are typing the word using phonetic keyboard and you found that word is not in the dictionary 2: Say you want to add word "AVIVA" into the dictionary 3: Press A you will get the letter "अ" . Then press key SHIFT 4: Press VI you will get the letter "वि" . Then press key SHIFT 5: Press VA you will get the letter "वा" . Then press key SHIFT 6: Finally press SPACE to commit the word NOTE that space key is used to commit the word. Hi anish, I tried to add new word as you mentioned and it working fine just one problem. I tried to add linux (लिनक्स) 1) 'lin' -> लिन 2) then shift 3) 'k' -> then using updown arrow select second phrase क् 4) then shift 5) s' -> स but after ibus-restart it is not showing me लिनक्स word in suggestion box.
