Description Jonathan Corbet 2011-03-12 17:11:02 UTC
Description of problem:

Updating to 23.3 leaves /etc/alternatives/emacs pointing to /usr/bin/emacs-23.2

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
emacs-23.3-1.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:

Presumably always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run 'yum update' and get version 23.3
2. Type "emacs" or click your favorite icon
3. Watch in dismay as emacs is reported "not found"

Actual results:

Might actually have to use vi

Expected results:

Emacs as usual

Additional info:

Easily fixed by adjusting the link by hand
