Description Hiemanshu Sharma 2011-03-15 17:39:27 UTC
Spec URL: http://hiemanshu.fedorapeople.org/reviews/plasmate.spec
SRPM URL: http://hiemanshu.fedorapeople.org/reviews/plasmate-0.1-2.alpha2.fc15.src.rpm
Description: A complete solution for developing Plasma “widgets”, themes, dataengines, ions and krunners. Lowering the bar for contribution to the KDE community.

Comment 1 Golo Fuchert 2011-03-20 14:31:01 UTC
Three initial comments:
- I have not worked with KDE widgets, so there might be a thing called "ion",
but maybe you meant icon here? Of course I apologize if there is an object
called ion, wouldn't be too strange when talking about plasma, either. ;-)
- You surely know that it's not the best practice to use patches without any
comment why it is necessary and if upstream is aware of it. Also, upstream is
very often quite happy about the .desktop files.
- You _could_ (but don't have to) use macros in the URL and Source0 tag and in
  the files section.

Otherwise the package looks very good and clean to me (must have a closer look though).

Spec and SRPM URLs are invalid. Please clear the whiteboard if providing working URLs.

Are you still interested in this review, or can we close it so somebody else can submit a new review request?

Comment 4 Kevin Kofler 2013-02-14 22:26:36 UTC
Ping? We waited 5 days now, 2 more and the review can and will be closed by the stalled review policy.

Even if you are not interested anymore, it would still be nice to say so rather than just not replying.

Comment 5 Kevin Kofler 2013-02-22 16:17:03 UTC
Meanwhile another week has passed, still no answer. The submitter hasn't responded ever since the initial submission in March 2011.

Stalled review, closing.
