This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. Rebuilding packages and running testsuites as root is generally not recommended - and AFAIK even not supported - failures like test 91 may occur in such cases... This failure of test 44 is more strange, could you please attach the log of the failure - tests/testsuite.log - and provide more information if there is something special on your system(e.g. non default filesystem, selinux off)? TIA. Closing insufficient data, feel free to reopen the bugzilla once you provide requested information from comment #3. This happens during the TPS srpm rebuild test and should be fixed. The test dies on make check and does not continue so that no binaries are built as a result. TPS should not run tests and build packages as root, that's it... Please, disable or remove test 91. That should be sufficient for our purposes.
