Is this still a problem on latest libvirt GIT. We now have a dummy tap device which we always add to the bridge, precisely to ensure it has a stable MAC address which doesn't change when guest TAP devs are added. Rolling a libvirt as I type to test that patch. Yep, the new fixed mac address sorts it. The IPv6 link local address is consistent with the MAC and RADVD is passing the correct details now. |
