OpenGL is working (glxgears is 60fps)

Video card is a dual monitor configuration on a very common coorporate Dell GX620. Card details from lspci:

Package: mutter-2.31.5-3.fc14
Architecture: i686
OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)

How to reproduce
-----
1 Begin with clever new gnome3 desktop.
2 attach a second monitor to second dvi interface on computer.

Comment
-----
I have 2 monitors connected to my Dell GX620. If only the primary is attached, gnome3 works flawlessly. If the second monitor is attached, something about its detection kills "mutter" and I cannot control my desktop.

Comment 3 Scott Hunter 2011-03-18 23:33:14 UTC
I did some additional testing today. When the DVI cable from the second video output on my computer is unplugged, switching desktop-effects in and out of compiz and/or gnome shell is very solid - but if the second monitor is plugged in while either gnome-panel or compiz are active, there is a seg fault.

This appears to be the same bug as 664343.

Comment 5 Owen Taylor 2011-03-26 14:25:13 UTC
I'm closing all bugs filed against Mutter for Fedora 13 and Fedora 14. This represent quite old versions of Mutter and GNOME Shell and are unlikely to have much relevance to the current code base. (The Fedora 14 version of Mutter dates to last June and an enormous amount of development has gone on since that point.)

I'm sorry about not being able to be more attentive to these bugs and crash reports - I know it does take time to file one, and definitely appreciate the effort!
