Description Gerard Fernandes 2011-03-18 07:13:58 UTC
Description of problem: Can't open forwarded emails (which appear as attachments) from the sent email folder.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open evolution (connected to an IMAP account like gmail)
2. Forward any email - note that the forwarded email appears as an attachment in the new forward email.
3. Send it.
4. Go to the sent items folder and open this email just sent. This will be the IMAP sent folder (e.g. the gmail sent items folder)
5. Note that you can see the forwarded email header and subject line, but not the body of the forwarded message.
6. try double-clicking on the message (used to work before) - note that nothing happens.

Actual results: Can't view the body of the forwarded email that appears as an attachment in the forward email.

Expected results: You should be able to view the body of the forwarded email. This used to work before.

Thanks for a bug report. I moved this upstream as [1]. Please see [1] for any further updates. If possible, please CC yourself there, in case upstream developers will have additional questions.

Hello

Can you close this upstream as well please? I no longer see this problem after applying recent updates in the last week.

It appears to have been an intermittent problem that was (is?) probably related to display (rather than evolution).

Apologies for reporting before investigating it further.

Comment 4 Milan Crha 2011-03-29 05:42:06 UTC
Ah, thanks for the update, I'm closing it then.
