Changing to fullscreen opengl (keeping resolution) in neverball damages xorg (i can still use ctrl+alt+backspace). (tried this a couple of times) changing to fullscreen opengl and increasing resolution in neverball crashes xorg. i was able to switch to a vt while it keep blinking, but then the machine hard freezed when i issued a ctrl+alt+backspace. just in case: neverball.x86_64 1.5.4-4.fc15 I used in F15 neverball in the past. I don't know when it got broken. If i disable Desktop Effects, it does work, it seems.
Tested neverball with these options:

In full-screen: tested all avaiable resolutions and none crashed (i did see some corruption in one case, but not crash). In windowed, tested all avaiable resolutions and none crashed In full-screen, switched to various non-native resolution and switched to windowed and no problem. The xserver did not crash (Some graphical glitches remained till those areas were refreshed by kde/xorg). All tests were performed with KDE DE Enabled (OpenGL Renderer). Note: the following kernel parameter is used: radeon.pcie_gen2=1 Because i noticed that the card was used in gen1 only. Note2: Selinux is permissive, and a full reinstall was also performed. Created attachment 486515 [details] Xorg.0.log I executed neverball (an opengl game), noticed that full-screen opengl flickered, so i changed (in game) resolution and set it windowed instead of full-scren. I played normally a couple of levels. Then i quit playing. ok. But then the KDE desktop efects became truly bizarre. Maximizing/minimizing animation was fully broken. (like clipping when playing original doom I) I took a snapshot with ksnapshot (but all was ok, of course). After a while of usage (with these type of visual glitches), the screen went black (no music, etc), then tried to come back(?) then finally remained black. I connected via ssh, gathered some info, then tried to reboot, but failed for another reason (i am hit with some systemd/selinux issues), so sync sync sync reset.
