It also affects Fedora 15 and the situation even goes worse since gnome-shell had a larger font layout. My resolution is 1366x768.

I have the same problem on my netbook with resolution 1024x600 on F15. See attached screenshots of Pidgin - Manage Accounts window and XChat - Network List window.

So the problem is in gnome-shell or gtk I think. These components should make windows fit in the display.
Move this bug to gnome maintainers?

Comment 7 Peque 2011-06-22 18:34:01 UTC
Same problem here in Fedora 15 (can't even reach some buttons). Many people may not know how to move a window with the ALT key and may not know either how to report a bug, so this app may be useless for them...

Perhaps separating "Drive" and "Volumes" in two tabs will fix the problem?

Comment 8 Fiable.biz 2011-10-08 02:03:57 UTC
The same problem appears for adding packages if dependencies are needed. Vratislav, if you think it's a Gnome bug, please fill it there.

i have same problem in fedora16, 64 bit. in resolution 1366*768, when i click on my 320gb harddisk, some of the information is invisible. i tried to zoom but same remains outside vision. window moving also do not help.

Comment 11 Fedora End Of Life 2012-08-16 12:56:55 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 14 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 14. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '14' have been closed as WONTFIX.

(Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this
occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.)

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen
this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we were unable to fix it before Fedora 14 reached end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that
version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
