Description Rob Landry 2011-03-23 19:04:56 UTC
Description of problem:

Short version, floppy is all but dead. The media will no longer be produced and it's long disappeared as a standard option. It's worth noting that some management cards still emulate it and USB floppy drives can still be obtained; the few implementations do generally just work, and it should be a failure of basic hardware design if it doesn't vs. an OS<->hardware interoperability problem.
