SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/spamc from 'read' accesses on the fifo_file fifo_file. ***** Plugin catchall (50.5 confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that spamc should be allowed read access on the fifo_file fifo_file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep spamc /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp ***** Plugin leaks (50.5 confidence) suggests ****************************** If you want to ignore spamc trying to read access the fifo_file fifo_file, because you believe it should not need this access. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to dontaudit this access. Do # grep /usr/bin/spamc /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -D -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:system_r:spamc_t:s0 Target Context unconfined_u:system_r:postfix_master_t:s0 Target Objects fifo_file [ fifo_file ] Source spamc Source Path /usr/bin/spamc Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages spamassassin-3.3.2-0.5.svn1071394.fc14 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.7-37.fc14 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Permissive Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.i686 #1 SMP Mon Feb 7 07:04:18 UTC 2011 i686 i686 Alert Count 9 First Seen Thu 24 Mar 2011 12:06:24 PM EDT Last Seen Thu 24 Mar 2011 12:20:53 PM EDT Local ID e6ff4887-a7e6-479f-856a-d03b038d97d7 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1300983653.708:744): avc: denied { read } for pid=30127 comm="spamc" path="pipe:[573283]" dev=pipefs ino=573283 scontext=unconfined_u:system_r:spamc_t:s0 tcontext=unconfined_u:system_r:postfix_master_t:s0 tclass=fifo_file type=AVC msg=audit(1300983653.708:744): avc: denied { write } for pid=30127 comm="spamc" path="pipe:[573283]" dev=pipefs ino=573283 scontext=unconfined_u:system_r:spamc_t:s0 tcontext=unconfined_u:system_r:postfix_master_t:s0 tclass=fifo_file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1300983653.708:744): arch=i386 syscall=execve success=yes exit=0 a0=8fe7dd0 a1=8fea120 a2=8fea080 a3=3 items=0 ppid=30126 pid=30127 auid=500 uid=500 gid=500 euid=500 suid=500 fsuid=500 egid=500 sgid=500 fsgid=500 tty=(none) ses=1 comm=spamc exe=/usr/bin/spamc subj=unconfined_u:system_r:spamc_t:s0 key=(null) Hash: spamc,spamc_t,postfix_master_t,fifo_file,read audit2allow #============= spamc_t ============== allow spamc_t postfix_master_t:fifo_file { read write }; audit2allow -R #============= spamc_t ============== allow spamc_t postfix_master_t:fifo_file { read write };
