Description Michael Knepher 2011-03-25 20:20:07 UTC
Description of problem:
According to the Shotwell site[1], version 0.9 should have plugins for publishing to Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, etc. Going to Edit->Preferences->Plugins shows two plugin categories: "Publishing" and "Slideshow Transitions" with no actual plugins available.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.9

Comment 1 Michel Alexandre Salim 2011-03-27 15:40:42 UTC
This is bizarre. The Facebook, Flickr etc. sources are linked into the shotwell-publishing.so plugin, and the function names are indeed present:

$ strings /usr/lib64/shotwell/plugins/builtin/shotwell-publishing.so | grep -i facebook | wc -l
391

I'll check with upstream and look at the plugin source files. Maybe we're missing some runtime dependencies...

Comment 2 Michel Alexandre Salim 2011-03-28 22:51:38 UTC
Turns out $PREFIX/lib is hardcoded in several places -- patch sent to upstream.
