Description Cesar Eduardo Barros 2011-03-26 20:41:04 UTC
Description of problem:

When installing from the Live CD, the installed system will default to en_US - there is no language selection screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Fedora-15-Alpha-i686-Live-Desktop.iso with checksum 7e53e4...44d4e1.

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dd the ISO to a USB pen drive
2. Boot from the USB pen drive
3. Run the installer

Actual results:

The installer asks about keyboard layout and timezone, but does not ask about the language. You cannot change the language in the gdm screen either (see bug 681750). You have to change the language manually after installing.

Expected results:

It should about the language either before or after asking about the keyboard layout.

The livecd has always used the language selector in GDM or whatever else the desktop provides, so that's where this needs to be addressed.
