Running gnome-sound-recorder from a terminal, I get the following error:
** (gnome-sound-recorder:6004): WARNING **: No GConf default audio src key and alsasrc doesn't work

And then when the app launches I get a dialog with the following error:
'Your audio capture settings are invalid. Please correct them with the "Sound Preferences" under the System Preferences menu.'

...But, as you can see in the attached screenshot, my sound recording settings are fine. The problem rather seems to be that g-s-r is trying to look in gconf? Or maybe gstreamer-properties is the culprit, considering that there are no choices for "pulseaudio" there, and it thus tries to use alsasrc or something.

Not reproducible anymore.
