I ran evolution via the terminal this way:
$ G_SLICE=always-malloc evolution
I then started a mail, did not put in address, placed in subject and content and hit send. Message came up to enter an address, hit the dismiss button, added valid address, hit send and it crashed (just like before).

The terminal printed out the following:

[Troy@localhost ~]$ G_SLICE=always-malloc evolution
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"

(evolution:7898): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Thanks for following bug #691119. I'm marking this as a duplicate of it.

I tried to reproduce this on my build with no luck, I also do not see that 
> (evolution:7898): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion
> `object->ref_count > 0' failed

when reproducing the issue, which I believe is the main reason of the crash. I tried with my POP3 account.

Could you try with a valgrind, as stated in the original bug report, and attach there resulting log.txt file, please? Thanks in advance.
