Description of problem:Gnome shell fails to fully start.   I get wallpaper, a moving mouse, and Network Manager successfully connects to the wireless (hidden) but no overlay or panel functionality at all

Updates from terminal fail on dependencies.   --skip-broken fails.

Remove anaconda from the installed packages list and try again

Thanks, Rahul That fix got me back into the GUI, but now Network Manager fails to connect
to wireless.   Selecting <hidden> results in the icon and dialog completely
disappearing, and no connection.

That seems a different issue.  Closing this one for now.
