Description Harry Hsiung 2011-03-29 17:18:42 UTC
Description of problem:If system has >4gig the ISO image does not install in a UEFI 2.1 system. Lowering memory to 2gig allows installer to work from dvdrom/cdrom.

Tried on Intel starlake xeon server system with 6 gig of memory (UEFI 2.1).
PS5000

not sure if it is grub, anaconda or kernel. bootx64.efi runs first(grub) off of the fedora 15 dvdrom UEFI sessions.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): fedora 15 alpha

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.pull fedora alpha cdrom x64
2.select EFI dvdrom boot from UEFI system
3.system will hang when bootx64.efi takes control

Actual results:

Expected results:should start install from dvdrom in system >4gig

This is the same as 691860 but for F15, so it's probably also the kernel.
