Description of problem:

See job:

in ks.cfg Beaker adds repo definitions for all add-on repos as well as for debug and optional repos. When installing all packages this also installs -debuginfo and optional packages. This changes the environment for yum update test cases.

Optional-* and debug repos should not be available during install. Only post install.

Comment 1 Bill Peck 2011-05-19 16:13:11 UTC
One user wants all the optional rpms available during install, another doesn't want them.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to make everyone happy.

Hi Bill,
what's the status for this bug? It is impacting RTT when testing things which install all packages because optional and debuginfo repos are automatically enabled.

IMHO optional repositories should not be added automatically because they are not present on the primary install media.

If possible provide some flag to be able to turn on/off this feature or select which repositories to add during install.
