I just installed the latest kernel from koji:

kernel-2.6.38.2-10.fc15.x86_64.rpm

and the following started appearing in dmesg:

[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon

and then the DDX driver xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.16-24.20110324git8378443.fc15 says:

[    13.632] (EE) NOUVEAU(0): Error creating GPU channel: -16
[    13.632] (EE) NOUVEAU(0): Error initialising acceleration.  Falling back to NoAccel

I forgot to mention that the 2.6.38.2-9 kernel doesn't exhibit this problem.

Yep, 2.6.38.2-11 should fix it I believe.  There were other bugs for the problem, I can't seem to find it now!  Can you confirm?
