Previously, running the firstboot utility with the "-r" option while the subscription-manager-firstboot utility was already installed caused the firstboot utility to terminate with a traceback; it also failed to display a message stating that the computer was already registered with Red Hat Network. This bug has been fixed, the firstboot utility now displays the warning message properly and no tracebacks are issued in the described scenario.

Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Fixed in master (but not merged to 6.1 branch yet) in:
commit e3ccb4b6658f59ecc33b024ad462ed0f693d346e

693709: fix bug showing the "you are registered to rhn" dialog
.__get_window was calling the subclass method, which was pointing
at a window which isn't created yet in firstboot (createScreen
creates it)
Incorrectly moved to modified (patch not pushed to rhel6 branch because of lack of blocker status) *** Bug 707822 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 501278 [details]

bzfix
Tested with release candidate of rhsm:
subscription-manager-0.95.14-1.git.4.11aa664.el6.x86_64
subscription-manager-firstboot-0.95.14-1.git.4.11aa664.el6.x86_64
subscription-manager-gnome-0.95.14-1.git.4.11aa664.el6.x86_64
firstboot -r now opens normally with the "you are registered to rhn" warning properly (see screenshot).
firstboot does not create any additional tracebacks or warning messages.
Marking this VERIFIED.
