Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue. I cannot reproduce here with firefox-4.0-3.fc15.x86_64 (about:sessionrestore opens just fine here). So, we need more information to be able to reproduce the issue here. 1) Are you able to reproduce this when running firefox in the safe mode (i.e., run it with parameter -safe-mode on the command line) 2) Are you able to reproduce the problem with the upstream binary from http://www.firefox.com/? 3) Are you able to reproduce the problem with a fresh profile? 4) Do you find any relevant errors in the Javascript Console (Ctrl+Shift+J)? Thank you for your cooperation and helping to make Fedora more awesome! We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance. hi seems like the problem disappeared on firefox-4.0-3.fc15.x86_64 .. probably theres something in the update fixed it.. i guess this ticket can be closed now :) thanks! I'm having this issue now with firefox-4.0.1-2.fc15.x86_64. Can we re-open? The "not valid" message pops up after a crash (in which case old session information is not available) or when entering "about:sessionrestore" in the location bar. (The former is hard to reproduce, but the latter is reliable.) Well, I tried on another system and can't reproduce, so it must have something to do with something missing or corrupted in my .mozilla directory. |
