Xorg.0.log just after hanging

Description of problem:

Since updating to Fedora 15, vlc causes X to go into an infinite
loop, rendering the machine virtually unusable unless I log in over
ssh and kill everything.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

I've no idea which of these is relevant, so here is every
xorg package installed:

Comment 4 Richard W.M. Jones 2011-05-09 17:40:31 UTC
I have just updated to the latest Fedora 15 + updates, and
this problem no longer manifests itself. I don't know what
actually fixed it.
