installed F 14 and updated it, there is no such error

Changing the title - this works fine on my E-350 based system, so it's not the chip that's the problem. Can you install pmtools and run acpidump as root, then attach the output? Doing it under F14 is fine.

I tried on another Sony YB laptop (E-350), same issue reported.

Please try the F15 Beta.

I got Sony Vaio VPCYB1S1E (AMD E-350, A50 Fusion chipset) and still with F15 Beta i686 Live and Live-KDE I have got that ACPI Error: No handler ... disabling event (20110112/evgpe-753).

Sometimes system reaches to Desktop. If shutdown is able to begin, it ends with kernel panic. But often it is locked/reboots almost after switch to X.

I put dmesg and acpidump under F14. F14 works good except there is no sound from internal speakers (known bug in hda_intel, but I can't set up modprobe.d/alsa.conf as I was able in F13).

So I'm waiting for F15, I hope You can help us all.

Greetings.

Tried Fedora 15 RC (live) on Sony YB, No error message on tty (ACPI error). Bug seems fixed (tested on live) with kernel:

kernel-2.6.38.6-26.rc1
