Description Mario Ceresa 2011-04-07 13:19:01 UTC
Description of problem:
Whatever I do the filter menu is grayed out.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.8.1-3.fc14
Source build from 3.10

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
* Download the tutorial here:
http://www.itk.org/Wiki/images/8/88/ParaViewTutorial38.pdf
* with this data:
http://www.itk.org/Wiki/images/5/5d/ParaViewTutorialData.tar.gz
* Try to do exercise 2.6 Apply a filter (pag 26)

Actual results:
The filter menu is grayed out and also all the toolbar's items

Expected results:
At least some filters (Contour) should be usable.

Additional info:
The application is useless without the filters.

When I rebuilt the srpm it says that the supported qt version is 4.6. Fedora ships 4.7.1, maybe this is the problem?

Comment 1 Mario Ceresa 2011-04-07 13:26:19 UTC
It it the same with binary 3.10

Maybe it's a bug we should report upstream? Or just me doing something plainly wrong???

Best,

Mario

You have to load a data set and apply it before the filters menu becomes active.

Thanks and sorry for the noise!
