Section 3.2.2.6 Converting a remote KVM virtual machine has been added: http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/96/html/V2V_Guide/convert-a-remote-kvm-guest.html Verified Section 3.2.2.6 Converting a remote KVM Virtual Machine. http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/96/html/V2V_Guide/convert-a-remote-kvm-guest.html Added converting a remote KVM virtual machine to RHEV in Guide, that's fine to me. But in 3.2.2.5. Converting a local KVM Virtual Machine http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/96/html/V2V_Guide/convert-a-local-kvm-guest.html I found the command changed from: virt-v2v -o rhev -os storage.example.com:/exportdomain --network rhevm vm-name to virt-v2v -ic qemu+ssh://root.com/system -o rhev -os storage.example.com:/exportdomain --network rhevm vm-name -ic URI Specifies the connection to use when using the libvirt input method. If omitted, this defaults to qemu:///system.So if convert a local KVM VM,there is no need to add -ic qemu+ssh://... Hi Cheryn, can you confirm it? Yes you're right, good catch. I must've changed it by accident. It's fixed now. http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/96/html/V2V_Guide/convert-a-local-kvm-guest.html |
