Comment 2 Nils Philippsen 2011-04-26 15:45:44 UTC
This doesn't look like it crashes in sane libraries (thread 6), but rather in
thread 1:

Thread 1 (Thread 0x7fb6f757e940 (LWP 1420)):
#0  0x00007fb6f7ed1d51 in g_value_object_collect_value (value=0x28df008, n_collect_values=<optimized out>, collect_values=0x7fffd9597930, collect_flags=0) at gobject.c:3065
        object = 0x2206f60
...

Changing component back to gnome-color-manager.

Comment 3 Richard Hughes 2011-04-26 15:52:21 UTC
Nils, isn't this the atexit() in libsane destroying the global state?

Comment 4 Nils Philippsen 2011-04-27 11:32:44 UTC
Which atexit() do you mean? I've checked libsane as well as the backend shared objects and didn't find a reference to that symbol (the only use of atexit() I found is in the DomainOS SANE domain server, but that doesn't apply to Linux).

Comment 5 Richard Hughes 2011-11-15 12:36:04 UTC
Does this still happen in F16? Thanks.
