Did you do execute the an init script while sitting in your homedir as root? /etc/init.d/portreserve restart for example. Not that I recall doing. The system was just installed prior to the SELinux Troubleshooter notification. Ok reopen if it happens again. It can safely be ignored. |
SELinux is preventing /sbin/portreserve from 'search' accesses on the directory /home/david. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that portreserve should be allowed search access on the david directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep portrelease /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:system_r:portreserve_t:s0 Target Context unconfined_u:object_r:user_home_dir_t:s0 Target Objects /home/david [ dir ] Source portrelease Source Path /sbin/portreserve Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages portreserve-0.0.4-5.fc14 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.7-37.fc14 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Feb 7 07:06:44 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen Fri 08 Apr 2011 10:08:43 PM EDT Last Seen Fri 08 Apr 2011 10:08:43 PM EDT Local ID 0e8b32bd-8129-4bdb-90d3-117d62b8908e Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1302314923.931:29210): avc: denied { search } for pid=3205 comm="portrelease" name="david" dev=dm-2 ino=9568257 scontext=unconfined_u:system_r:portreserve_t:s0 tcontext=unconfined_u:object_r:user_home_dir_t:s0 tclass=dir type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1302314923.931:29210): arch=x86_64 syscall=open success=no exit=EACCES a0=7fff391794b0 a1=0 a2=0 a3=ffffffff items=0 ppid=3192 pid=3205 auid=500 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 tty=(none) ses=1 comm=portrelease exe=/sbin/portreserve subj=unconfined_u:system_r:portreserve_t:s0 key=(null) Hash: portrelease,portreserve_t,user_home_dir_t,dir,search audit2allow #============= portreserve_t ============== allow portreserve_t user_home_dir_t:dir search; audit2allow -R #============= portreserve_t ============== allow portreserve_t user_home_dir_t:dir search;
