Comment 5 Vasiliy Sharapov 2011-04-13 19:57:32 UTC
I'm unable to verify the existence of the bug. I wiggled the mouse around on an HP dc5850 with i386 RHEL for five minutes over the course of a few hours, the cursor didn't stick. I tried to rig up a mechanical system to test it but there are more important tasks for me.

If someone comes up with a reliable reproducer, I can verify the bug, until then I can only test for regressions. =\ So this bug is staying ON_QA until something changes.

Comment 6 Vasiliy Sharapov 2011-04-15 00:33:13 UTC
Built a robot to wiggle the mouse (and frequently hit the left edge) and ran it overnight. No stuck cursor after many hours. Can't confirm this one without a better reproducer.

Comment 7 Vasiliy Sharapov 2011-04-15 02:25:11 UTC
Bug confirmed while setting up robot for a four-day run! I'll test the fixed package with that instead. QA work can be so exhilarating!

Comment 8 Vasiliy Sharapov 2011-04-19 14:10:45 UTC
Verified, it ran over the weekend, didn't stick.
