Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Easily reproducible.

Steps to Reproduce:

2.Go to login screen
3.See a foot.

Actual results:
A foot.

Expected results:
A fedora branded "F"

Additional info:
Not trying to waste anyone's time, just wasn't sure if this was intentional and possibly overlooked in all the excitement.

Comment 1 James Laska 2011-04-11 19:01:23 UTC
This is a change from Fedora 14, where gdm displayed the Fedora logo. It's not clear whether the gnome logo is intentional, or an omission. Adding to F15Blocker for discussion as to whether this is intentional or not.

Comment 5 Adam Williamson 2011-04-15 18:24:24 UTC
Discussed at 2011-04-15 blocker review meeting. The existence of an update implies that this was not the intended design, and so this meets the final artwork criterion:

# The default Fedora artwork must either refer to the current Fedora release under development (Fedora 15), or reference an interim release milestone (e.g. Alpha or Beta). If a release version number is used, it must match the current Fedora release under development. This includes artwork used in the installer, firstboot, graphical boot, graphical login and desktop background.

Thus, accepted as a blocker.

Comment 6 Jamie Clark 2011-04-15 18:29:28 UTC
Last I checked the bootsplash had a similar lack of the familiar "f" (the shape was there, but the 'f' inside was not) this, though, could very well be intentional, though somehow I doubt it.

Comment 9 Adam Williamson 2011-04-18 16:15:42 UTC
jamie: it's a dynamic bootsplash. it 'fills up' with the fedora logo as boot progresses.
