fixed in rhel 5 branch, commit 8536e52d2c Verified Using Following setup candlepin : on-premises subscription manager : subscription-manager-firstboot-0.95.5.8-1.git.6.42d8706.el5 subscription-manager-0.95.5.8-1.git.6.42d8706.el5 subscription-manager-gnome-0.95.5.8-1.git.6.42d8706.el5 Error dialogue displays "invalid credentials Please see /var/log/rhsm/rhsm.log for more info " while registering system using invalid username and password Moving defect status from Modified to verified An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report.
