Bug 696448

Description of problem:
If wireless is disabled and then re-enabled (either manually or by suspending/using a physical switch), any attempts to reconnect fail.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
NetworkManager-0.8.998-2.git20110406.fc15.x86_64 (I've been running into this issue since NM 0.9 landed)

How reproducible:
The problem is intermittent, but happens most of the time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the network applet to turn off wireless (alternatively, do this in the Network settings, with a physical switch, or just suspend the computer).
2. Turn wireless back on.
3. Try to reconnect.
  
Actual results:
The results vary, but most of the time wireless is shown as 'unavailable' and no networks are displayed to reconnect to. Occasionally the available connections are displayed, but are impossible to connect to (clicking on them either has only a brief/no effect or results in the 'connecting' message being displayed, but no successful connection). On a few occasions reconnecting works perfectly.

Toggling wireless repeatedly can eventually get a successful connection, as can repeatedly restarting the NetworkManager service. Networking seems to work fine after a reboot however.

Expected results:
A wireless connection is re-established.

Additional info:
In case this is hardware-related, my card is a RaLink RT3090, which is using the rt2800pci drivers that started working in Fedora 15 (and quite nicely too).
