Description Awad Guirguis 2011-04-14 21:33:24 UTC
Description of problem: we're getting the following errors at boot time :
kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
kernel: sdu: rw=0, want=3846801626, limit=3846704128

This is a EMC StorNext server and recently upgraded to RHELS 5.4
And these errors start shown up, we didn't have this problem on RHELS 5.3

Can you please attach archived metadata (vgcfgbackup),
'dmsetup table' output, dmesg kernel boot log.
(Also which version of lvm2 package do you use)

Comment 2 Milan Broz 2011-10-21 15:59:05 UTC
No provided info, closing.

If you still have a problem with that configuration, please use standard Red Hat support channels http://www.redhat.com/support/

Thanks.
