Description Jeff Layton 2011-04-15 01:44:24 UTC
This has been broken for a week or so now. When updating via yum:

Error: Package: claws-mail-plugins-geolocation-3.7.8-8.fc15.x86_64 (@fedora)
           Requires: libchamplain-0.8.so.1()(64bit)
           Removing: libchamplain-0.8.1-3.fc15.x86_64 (@fedora)
               libchamplain-0.8.so.1()(64bit)
           Updated By: libchamplain-0.9.1-1.fc15.x86_64 (updates-testing)

Looks like Andreas tried to build a fixed package a few days ago, but it failed to build.

Please see

http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2011-April/150337.html

and

http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2011-April/150197.html.

f15 git will however already build against libchamplain >= 0.9.1.

Comment 2 Michael Schwendt 2011-04-15 09:40:27 UTC
Without a koji buildroot override for either one, clas-mail-plugins won't rebuild, however:

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libchamplain-0.10.0-1.fc15 has never made it into updates-testing due to the bodhi problem I've pointed out in the ticket and on devel list.

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libchamplain-0.9.1-1.fc15 has been the only one in updates-testing, but also breaks the ABI and would need a koji buildroot override, too.

Comment 3 Andreas Bierfert 2011-04-15 09:52:59 UTC
Yes, however, the patch I applied in git will work for either one.

Comment 4 Jeff Layton 2011-04-19 12:07:28 UTC
So, what exactly has to happen to fix this? It's been broken for quite some time now...

Comment 5 Andreas Bierfert 2011-04-19 12:29:07 UTC
Just waiting on libchamplain and the other related rebuilds.

Comment 6 Michael Schwendt 2011-04-19 13:06:21 UTC
libchamplain-0.10.0-2.fc15 has been tagged into the koji buildroot,

  https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/4645

a claws-mail-plugins rebuild is available in koji and pending in bodhi,

  https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/claws-mail-plugins-3.7.9-2.fc15

but other than that, there hasn't been any public communication about libchamplain and the _other_ missing rebuilds.

Comment 7 Michael Schwendt 2011-11-04 12:00:34 UTC
This has been fixed meanwhile, hasn't it?
