Description Hans de Goede 2011-04-15 12:29:39 UTC
Hi,

In f15 /var/run has become a ramdisk, so /var/run/openct does not exist on boot. Either the openct initscript needs to be fixed to create it, or the opensc package should create an openct.conf file under /etc/tmpfiles.d/ telling systemd to create it at boot.

Please let me know if you don't have time to fix this for F15 then I'll go and fix it myself, since openct is doa without this fixed.

Regards,

Hans

But there is /etc/tmpfiles.d/opencttmp.conf file in the current openct package in F15, so where the bug is?

My bad, I had downgraded openct to the version from RHEL-6 because of the coldplug problems I reported in the other bug, as at first I had not figured out it was a cold plug problem and I did have success with RHEL-6 (while hotplugging).

Closing.
