Description of problem:

When attempt to delete one (or many) files using the "del" key nothing happens.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

3.0.0

How reproducible:

Select a file and try to delete using the del key.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a file
2.Hit the del key
3.
  
Actual results:

Nothing happens

Expected results:

"Delete" the selected files to the trash

Additional info:

Using the shift+del it does direct delete the files.

Try Ctrl+Delete?

Yes, the keyboard shortcut changed to Ctrl+Delete in 3.0.
