*** Bug 730591 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I've been using this PAM module for several months in Scientific Linux 6 in an environment, where system users are kept in a mysql database and authentication takes place through pam_mysql, without any issues. Now I intend to use it in CentOS 6, but since C6 and SL6 are clones, I do not expect to encounter any issues. it's in epel-testing by the way Since I opened this bug report, it would be relevant to say that I've stopped using this software and, therefore, I won't be providing any more feedback about this. As far as I'm concerned (as the reporter), please feel free to close this bug report. This message is a reminder that EPEL 6 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for EPEL 6 on 2020-11-30. It is our policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a 'version' of 'el6'.
