Description Stephen Gordon 2011-04-19 06:10:18 UTC
Description of problem:

This bug has been created from the project wishlist previously maintained at:

   https://engineering.redhat.com/trac/ContentServices/wiki/TopicTool

Content:

"Auto fill of metadata on creation of a new topic. Fields to be auto filled, Author Name, Author Email, Date Created (current date). Name and email address could presumably be entered into the topic tool after initial installation and stored in a file to be referred to whenever a new topic is created. Date could come from current system date."

Further action:

The metadata tags have actually been removed from most if not all of the current topic templates, eventually a replacement metadata store will however need to be created and maintained.

Metadata management has become the realm of Skynet. While we will continue to use topic tool for Cloud BU documentation and improve it to that end metadata management is seen as 'Phase II', we wont pursue it in the CLI.
