Description of problem:

On FC 15, with the new Gnome 3 networkmanager applet & settings tool, a user is not able to remove an unused wifi connection.  This leads to various situations where the networkmanager applet continue to propose or to set the connection to a wifi access point (AP) that the user don't want to use, while making it tricky to finally get a connection with an AP that he wants to use (especially when the unwanted AP is WAP/WEP secured, since when the WAP/WEP box is open to invite the user to enter the key, it doesn't appear possible to simply click on the desired AP to get the connection).

I suspect that modifications to the networkmananger settings/applet UI may be required to correct this problem and that it may take some times...  If it's the case, it would be fine to have, in the meantime, some instructions on how to manually remove an unwanted connection, whether by using gconf or dconf editors or at least, by editing some config files (I've googled to find instructions for this, without success).

Hi mlaverdiere, try nm-connection-editor as workaround.

Hey, I want to say, that I ran into the same problem and it took me at least a week to find this thread. I was intending to give Fedora a try on our next Linux install party, but this is really a show stopper. How can it be that this feature is simply missing? I do not think that a system which does not have an undo button (which a delete network button essentially is) is suitable for linux beginners. So please fix this issue.
