Description Simo Sorce 2011-04-20 14:09:42 UTC
When the calendar component needs to ask for a password it does so by showing the "rememebr your password" checkbox always checked.

This default is backwards, as if I do not want to save it it means I have to remember to click on the checkbox every single time.

Tracked ans solved upstream in bug: 502188

Comment 4 Milan Crha 2011-04-20 16:48:24 UTC
I just placed an updated patch to the upstream bug [1]. The initial patch was for publish-calendar only. The new patch is for calendar authentication routines and it stores user's choice (if password entered), end uses it the next time. The actual code reads uninitialized 'remember' variable, so there is a little chance that it can be FALSE one day.

Just tested and it works, password dialog came up w/o the obnoxious check box ticket by default.
