Development Management has reviewed and declined this request. You may appeal this decision by reopening this request. I just placed an updated patch to the upstream bug [1]. The initial patch was for publish-calendar only. The new patch is for calendar authentication routines and it stores user's choice (if password entered), end uses it the next time. The actual code reads uninitialized 'remember' variable, so there is a little chance that it can be FALSE one day.
