Description of problem:
yum --releasever=15 distro-sync will not work without tweaking. the command i finally used for a successful yum distro-sync was
yum --releasever=15 distro-sync --skip-broken --exclude=gnome-theme* 
and this was also after erasing gnome-applets

You will have to tell us the error message you see and the versions of involved packages.

i have updated my laptop and a vm - the only thing left is my desktop and thats for f15 final.

i have brought it to your attention and am unable to provide the message. you are correct in requesting the information but i do not have the resources to reproduce the scenario.

i will however, keep in mind, that in future error messages should be logged with the bugzilla issue.

I think your problem is fixed in current updates, anyway.
