Description Michael Monreal 2011-04-20 15:39:45 UTC
After upgrading to F15 beta, the shell does no longer show any items in the dash and always crashes after a few seconds. This is using gnome-shell-3.0.0.2-2.fc15. Downgrading to gnome-shell-3.0.0.2-1.fc15 gives me a usable desktop again.

It looks like this *may* be fixed by the most recent commit to
gnome-shell.spec, which ups the gnome-menus requirement (and thus, may be fixed
by updating your gnome-menus package to 3.0.0-2). But walters didn't bump the
Release with that change, so the current package doesn't have that requirement.

I got some updates today, gnome-menus was one of them so I updated shell again and this time it worked, so I guess this is fixed by updating gnome-menus.
