What happens if you do rpm --rebuilddb? Please add -vv to your erase command as well. Sorry, I overlooked that you've tried --rebuilddb. If you give me a pointer (i.e. a URL, attachments won't work) to a tarball of your database cd /var/lib tar czvf /tmp/rpmdb.tar.gz rpm I'll see if I can get you a fix. I did a Microsoft-standard fix.. I rebooted the server and all is well. I could try to do the same thing again and see if it seg faults again if you want. No, please don't :-) But reopen the bug if the problem reoccurs. |
