That seems like an improperly installed theme -- shouldn't /usr/share/themes/Macbuntu only contain gtk-2.0, index.theme and metacity-1? I downloaded the latest Macbuntu from Sourceforge, and copied the themes/Macbuntu directory directly to /usr/share/themes, and could not reproduce it with gtt 3.0.3 (that will be released as an update). gnome-tweak-tool-3.0.3-1.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnome-tweak-tool-3.0.3-1.fc15 Test script: 1. Start gnome-tweak-tool 2. From "Shell" open "Shell theme" file browser. 3. In "Location" field type "somefile" and hit "Open" Test result: gnome-tweak-tool silently fails without crash. This is OK so in my opinion this bug can be closed. Additional notes: 1. As far as I can understand gnome-tweak-tool expects compressed (ziped) theme file as input. It would be nice to have one (I mean GTK 3.x) for test purposes so we can see that good path works. 2. It would be nice to have a GUI error message telling user what is going on. Package gnome-tweak-tool-3.0.3-1.fc15: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing gnome-tweak-tool-3.0.3-1.fc15' as soon as you are able to.
