Description of problem:

Tab completion for ls no longer escapes spaces.  Reverting to 1.2 fixes.

bash-completion-1.3-3.fc14.noarch

See bug 677446, do you have acroread's _filedir in effect again?  Different symptoms but quite probably the same root cause.

If this is not the same problem, will need exact steps for reproducing it as well as the output on console after doing a "set -x" and invoking the completion.
