Description Marko Myllynen 2011-04-25 20:35:14 UTC
Description of problem:
It would be nice to install icedtea-web by default so that Java applets would work. icedtea-web has matured a lot recently and it is working ok with most applets. (FWIW, icedtea-web is also available in RHEL 6.1 Beta).

It might also be a good time to drop libgcj/java-1.5.0-gcj from default installation as OpenJDK is what most people want. (Those packages might get installed as a dependency for sinjdoc but it is unmaintained in upstream and should not be needed by any casual user, see bug 449851).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 15 Beta

Whoops, was already fixed in my local git but not pushed. Done now.

I'll drop GCJ as a default F-16 package in a second commit.
