Does this happen only with lxterminal or other terminals like gnome-terminal roxterm, lilyterm or sakura, too? Please give me the content of /etc/sysconfig/keyboard and /etc/sysconfig/i18n and the output of the command "locale". Thanks! Hi Christoph I've got the same bug with xterm. I haven't installed the others terminals, if it's important to test with all the others you've cited, just ask. cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard KEYTABLE="fr-latin9" MODEL="pc105" LAYOUT="fr" VARIANT="latin9" cat /etc/sysconfig/i18n LANG="fr_FR.UTF-8" SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16" Sorry for the late response. It's definitely not lxterminal or vte, it must be deeper in the X stack. Reassigning to xorg-x11 as I don't know a better alternative. Thanks for the bug report. We have reviewed the information you have provided above, and there is some additional information we require that will be helpful in our diagnosis of this issue. Please attach * your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available, and any files in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/), * X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) * output of the command evtest /dev/input/<particular file corresponding to your keyboard> (you'll find in /var/log/Xorg.0.log which one it is), and * system log (/var/log/messages) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link above. We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance. I've upgraded my distribution to Fedora 16, and I'm not having this bug anymore. Thank you for letting us know. |
